The Community Thrift Store is a joint project of the Surrey Hospice Society and the Surrey Fire Fighters’ Charitable Society.
 

The store is a treasure trove of gently used merchandise that includes clothing, household items, books, electronic goods, art, linens, collectibles, and fashion accessories - all at bargain prices.

The store is not only a boon to thrifty shoppers, but to the community as a whole because all profits will be returned to the community in the way of hospice support and Fire Fighters’ charitable programs.

The store relies on the goodwill of the community and the kind hearts of volunteers to operate. The store receives nearly 600,000 pounds of donations a year, all sorted by lovely volunteers.

Volunteers are a vital part of the store's success, and are their most valuable resource. The store's volunteer program provides workplace experience and  opportunities for future advancement.
