Donation Tips
Need some help downsizing or doing a big clean out? Here are a few tips:
-
Start with doing one space at a time - that way you are not overwhelmed
-
Anything that you think is worn, dirty, cracked or unusable - throw out
-
Keep like items together - it helps you to be sure of what you are giving away
-
Put glasses, dishes, and any other breakable items in boxes for transportation
-
Remember to recycle as much as you can!
We are proud to say that we recycle approximately 60% of items that come to us. We recycle electrical, clothing, shoes, purses, hard goods, books and a number of other items as well.
