Welcome to the Community Thrift Store!
The Community Thrift Store is a joint project of the Surrey Hospice Society and the Surrey Fire Fighters’ Charitable Society. The store is a treasure trove of gently-used merchandise that includes clothing, household items, books, electronic goods, art, linens, collectibles, and fashion accessories - all at bargain prices.
We have been closely monitoring the situation regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. We are committed to the health and well being of our clients, customers, volunteers, staff, and community in which we operate. We will continue to adhere to the directives of Municipal Health Authorities and we kindly ask that you wear a mask while visiting us and practice social distancing. Please postpone your visit if you are experiencing any flu-like symptoms.
We are taking every measure to ensure the health and wellness of our customers, staff and those that visit the store. Your choice to support our small community-based charity and business is tremendously important to all of us

Feel twice as good about your ticket purchase – the other 50% of the proceeds go to benefit & support local families. Hospice care focuses on comfort, quality of life, and supporting the precious moment’s families will share with their loved one during their final days together. It is not as much about dying as it is about living – living each day and each moment to the fullest. We are there to help our hospice residents and their families live each day with dignity and honour by providing compassionate, end- of-life care in a home-like setting.
